In 2017, Mwidu Rashidi and Nambiro Mukisa Socretes planted a seed of compassion in Bugiri, Eastern Uganda, giving rise to Kind Hand Ministries Uganda (KHMU). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development [NGO REG. NO BMC 702/128], our mission is to cultivate thriving communities by addressing the critical needs of the region's most vulnerable.
We believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our orphanage home, a sanctuary for 150 orphans and 100 needy children, provides not just shelter, but a nurturing environment where dreams are nourished. In a region where educational and healthcare resources are severely limited, we stand as a beacon of hope.
KHMU's work extends beyond the orphanage walls. We are committed to:
